1st Day of Clinic Reflection

My first day of clinic was a little bit of nerve wrecking, especially because the front desk lady and some of the techs were not very nice when I first arrived to my clinical site. I also did enjoy it because it was something new to me, way different to what we practice with at our lab class. Seeing how the techs work the equipment and how a portable works was a great experience, I just thought that working with a portable was going to be a challenge because you need to angle and play more with the tube. It was a little intimidating because I felt like if I didn't know how to do something I would get judged but it wasn't that way. Also, it is a lot different with doing it with an actual patient rather than one of our classmates, because the patient won't what position to get to and if they are really in pain you got to be extra careful. I am looking forward into learning and getting more experience as I come to clinic.
